Ondara is located on the northern Costa Blanca area of Spain. Ondara is set slightly inland from the coast.

To the south are the towns of Denia, Pedreguer, La Jara, Els Poblets and El Verger. To the north are Oliva and Gandia. Even further inland are the similar sized towns of Orba and Pego.

To get to Ondara you can either fly into Alicante airport or Valencia airport. Once at the airport you have a range of different airport transfer options to Ondara including private shuttle buses, taxis or Ondara car hire.

Ondara is a medium sized town mainly based around agriculture, in particular oranges and lemons. There is some tourism because of Ondara's close proximity to the coast and the thriving tourist town of Denia.

The northern Costa Blanca is a popular area in which many expats have settled, especially the British, possibly because of the greeness of the area. The town of Ondara is surrounded by orange groves and vineyards with mountains in the background making for a very scenic and country location.

Access is good because Ondara is just off the A7 autoroute (motorway) and the N-322 road passes around the town. It is recommended to take out Ondara car hire to get about.

PORTAL DE LA MARINA ONDARA SHOPPING CENTRE

Ondara is now the location for the Portal de La Marina - this is a huge shopping centre similar to a shopping mall in America.

This indoor shopping centre has many well-known retailers such as Zara, Amichi, Baileys, Benetton, Bershka, Botticelli, C&A, Calzedonia, Celio, Clarks - Nichi Seijo, Cool, D'enfants, Deichmann Calzados, Du Pareil Au Meme, Esprit, Fresh Shoes, Geox, Gerry Weber, Intim Caselles, Jack & Jones, Levi Strauss & Co, Mango, Marypaz, Masintimo, Massimo Dutti, Mayka, Mayoral, N & S, Oysho, Polinesia, Primichi, Pull And Bear, Punto Roma, Shana, Sietepecados, Springfield, Stradivarius, Surf Or Die, Tino Gonzalez, Women's Secret, Xhenna and the Eroski hypermarket. There is also a cinema, bowling alley and food court.
