HOW TO GET TO LA ZENIA FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT OR MURCIA AIRPORT

La Zenia is a popular beach resort located on the Costa Blanca to the south of the large town of Torrevieja. Small but busy, it has many restaurants, bars, shops and good facilities so once you are there at your apartment or villa you probably can walk everywhere without the need of La Zenia car hire.

On this page we give you the various options for getting to La Zenia from either Alicante airport or Murcia airport. Holidaymakers visiting the southern Costa Blanca often choose to catch a taxi or use a shuttle transfer especially if all they want to do is have a relaxing holiday in the resort.

La Zenia is one of those resorts where everything and everywhere is within walking distance. Not only can people walk everywhere but they can also walk to Cabo Roig and visit the Cabo Roig Strip, and they can also walk to Campoamor with all of its facilities.

Murcia Taxi to La Zenia.

La Zenia is also easily accessible from two international airports. San Javier near Murcia is the nearest airport and many people just choose to catch a taxi which costs around thirty to forty Euros one way with a transfer time of just twenty minutes.

Private Shuttlebus from Murcia to La Zenia.

An airport shuttle transfer would cost from about £50 return, but this would have to be booked prior to departure. Although San Javier airport in Murcia is closer to La Zenia there is a more restrictive choice of flights to choose from. Here you can book daily flights with Ryan Air or Easyjet.

Alicante Airport is the main hub servicing the Costa Blanca but is a little further away.

From El Altet airport which is located south of Alicante, to La Zenia you can expect to pay £67 return but again this would have to be booked prior to departure.

Alicante Taxi to La Zenia.

A taxi which one can just catch at the airport would cost between sixty and seventy Euros, but that would have to be paid again when leaving La Zenia for Alicante Airport.

There are many shuttle and transfer companies offering transport services so the holidaymaker will have to compare rates to obtain the best deal.

La Zenia Car hire. Hiring a car from Alicante airport to get you to La Zenia is a great idea if you also want to explore the fantastic Costa Blanca area of Spain. Car hire from Alicante airport or Murcia airport is very cheap so it could be a good option even if you don't intend to use the car much.

La Zenia is very much a compact beach resort with usually plenty of bars, restaurants and beaches within walking distance, so unless you want to go on a number of excursions you probably don't need to consider taking out La Zenia car hire.
