The major international airport at Alicante airport is 126 km away with the transfer time of 84 minutes. However Alicante has a huge range of flights to many destinations all over Europe so it is still the most popular La Manga airport option.

If you are staying at a resort such as The La Manga Club you don't necessarily need to hire a car unless of course you're wanting to explore the Costa Calida area which has a lot of sights and attractions.

Below we show you the options for airport transfers to La Manga from either Alicante airport or Murcia airport.

Taxi to La Manga. Getting a taxi from Alicante airport or Murcia airport to La Manga is a good option because there are unlimited airport taxis at all times day or night and you can just jump into a taxi cab immediately outside the arrivals hall of Alicante airport. You won't have to wait around as you would with a public bus and it will take you directly to the La Manga Club, your hotel, villa or apartment in La Manga.

Catching a taxi is the easiest and most stress free option to get from Alicante to La Manga. A taxi from Alicante airport to La Manga costs €111 during the day and €133 late at night. This of course is one way.

Most taxis from Alicante to La Manga only can carry four people and it is always best to confirm exactly the price you will be paying before you set off. Taxi prices can vary depending on the time of day and whether there is a public holiday of which there are many in Spain!

La Manga Car Hire. Hiring a car from Murcia airport or Alicante airport to get you to La Manga is a pretty economical way of transferring to your chosen accommodation. La Manga car hire also gives you the ability to take excursions and explore the Costa Calida and Costa Blanca area of Spain. A weeks car hire usually costs around €100 for an economy sized car rental.
