Javea is a great place to buy a property. Javea is very desirable and exclusive. Many wealthy people from Madrid and Valencia have bought second homes in Javea. Property prices in Javea are not cheap simply because so many people want to buy property in Javea.

Stating the obvious, Javea is on the coast with a lovely sandy beach but it isn't just that. The coastline is extremely scenic with a really varied terrain. You have mountains in the background including the famed Montgo mountain which overlooks the whole of Javea. There are rocky bays and coves and hidden beaches only accessible by sea.

Javea is surrounded by beautiful green hills which surprises many people when they first come here. The area including Javea is simply one of the most beautiful in Spain.

Javea is a good place to buy property from the perspective of accessibility. It is an hour and a half by car from Javea to Alicante airport and the same distance to Valencia airport so there is a great choice of low-cost flights to the UK and other European cities.

You can buying property in Javea and know that whenever you are in Javea it is still functioning. Unlike many tourist towns, Javea is a town still alive in winter although obviously much quieter.

Javea is situated between the towns of Moraira and Denia. This is another good reason for buying property in Javea.

Moraira is a fishing village and is very attractive to visit but much smaller than Javea. The boutique shops are great and the marina is very fancy. Denia on the other hand is very much bigger than Javea, more Spanish, more a bigger working town with big shops, ferries going to Ibiza and Majorca, more infrastructure and facilities but perhaps not regarded as attractive as Javea.

So Javea is perfectly situated in between these two very different places so you have the best of both worlds by buying property in Javea. Your property in Javea will also only be 45 minutes away from the many theme parks situated in Benidorm. If you are looking to buy a property in Javea and rent it out for part of the year you couldn't choose a better spot.

Planning regulations also play an important part when considering buying property in Javea. Strict development rules mean villas in Javea must be on plots of at least 1000 square metres which means plenty of gardens, trees and greenery.

Apartments in Javea are restricted in height so there won't be any ugly high rises. These rules are helping keep Javea an exclusive place to visit and buy a property in.

The climate of Javea and the surrounding area is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the best in the whole world. It is hot in summer but not overbearingly so, neither is it too cold in winter.

Another reason for buying property in Javea is that it is very cosmopolitan. Many nationalities live in Javea or have bought properties in Javea. Aside from English there are large German, Swiss and French communities to name just a few. Restaurants serve a wide variety of cuisines and there are two international schools nearby.
