El Pinet has attracted a lot of media attention over the last two years as having been started during the building boom which has gripped the Costas over the last ten years. It has looked like as the boom ran out of steam the unlucky investors and retirees would bear the brunt, but the developers have made good on their contracts and El Pinet is now open for business.

El Pinet is a new urbanisation on Spain’s Southern Costa Blanca close to La Marina. With a large amount of houses and apartments on complexes being built in 2009 and improving the roads and infrastructure, El Pinet has become a first class urbanisation to spend your vacations or winters at. The apartments are located on gated complexes with pools and many of them are available to rent at various times of the years as not all owners have made El Pinet their permanent residence.

GETTING TO EL PINET

El Pinet is conveniently located between two international airports with flights arriving daily from all major U.K. airports with cheap fares from Ryan Air, Monarch and Easyjet on offer. El Pinet is also a stones throw away from blue flag beaches such as Guardamar and Torrevieja with its nightclubs, attractive beaches, promenade bars and restaurants is also only fifteen minutes away by car.

Once at the airport you have a range of different airport transfer options to El Pinet including private shuttle buses, taxis or El Pinet car hire.

El Pinet benefits from excellent weather with long hot summers, over three hundred sunny days a year, and mild winters, and lovely springs and autumns. So what ever time you choose to visit El Pinet the weather will always be with you.

EL PINET BEACHES

The El Pinet/La Marina beach is a blue flag beach with life-guards on duty during the summer months. There are also salt flats and protected dunes and fabulous bird life in the El Pinet area. The beaches are cleaned everyday, and have foot showers and W.C. as well as a good play area for children, and beach bars serving drinks and snacks. For golfers there are many courses with La Marquesa being the closest ten minutes by car at Quesada, Las Ramblas and Villamartin are twenty minutes away by car.
