The Asia Restaurant - Take the road to the Cumbre from the traffic lights in Benitachell village – Asia is on the right immediately after the turn and there is convenient roadside parking.
"On 28th April 08, we chose the set meal for 4 people at the Asia restaurant in Benitachell with the house wine, and had a really delicious feast which we all enjoyed. It was a very reasonable price." Mike S.
"The Asia serves a variety of Oriental food, mostly Chinese although the Japanese dishes are also popular. Star dishes are those which include noodles. In Spain it is hard to find decent noodles, most Chinese restaurants produce slimy things not fit for human consumption but Asia does it properly and you may have the dishes served on an iron sizzler if you wish. The standard is consistantly good and the owner very welcoming. Certainly the best Chinese restaurant in the area." Jan G. March '08

"We only know the Sunday lunch but it is superb. Really nice with really big portions. One thing is for certain you won't go home hungry! Price is approximately 10 euros or so. Starters, dessert and drinks extra. By the way they pour a great pint of Tetleys. Make sure you book first." Dennis H. March '08
L'Escala - Where: If you are coming past Javea golf course towards Benitachell then once you have passed the second garage take the first turning on the right. It is signposted also.
"If you want to impress someone this is the place. Run by a former famous Argentinean opera singer now in his 80's. If you are fortunate he may sing. A meat eaters paradise with everything cooked on the BBQ. Quite pricey - about €30 a head but well worth it. Situated in an old farmhouse - if I had the choice of eating out anywhere in the area I would go here." M.L. April '08

"We have been a couple of times to Montevideo in Benitachell. The food is excellent, mostly home cooked and we feel reasonably priced at €18 including wine. Well worth a visit. Turn left at the traffic lights towards Cumbre del Sol and it is about 500 metres on the left opposite Luxal." J.S. April '08
Restaurante La Cumbre
"On the Cumbre del Sol next to Pepy La Sal Supermarket. From Javea towards Benitachell turn left at the lights just past the Benitachell Tourist Office. Follow the road up the mountain, past the sales office and information centre and keep straight on. The Supermarket is signposted and the restaurant is just past on the left. The large restaurant has its own large pool and you can dine inside or outside. Tables have amazing sea views and because of the altitude on a clear day Ibiza and shipping out to sea can be seen. There is a 14 euro Menu de la casa available lunchtime, though we had to ask for it before they bought that menu. Lovely food and wine, well presented and served with a courtesy and calm that we enjoyed. Highly recommended for lunch, haven't been there in the evening." Martin P. May 2008
