Most hotels will be within walking distance of the beach but do check out the location before you book. Generally people prefer to be in the Levante area which is the busiest area with the most shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Hiring a car is unnessary in Benidorm as you have everything you want and need close by and public transport is very good with regular buses.
Consider whether your Benidorm hotel has a swimming pool. This is vital in the summer months when temperatures in Benidorm can rise above 40 degrees Celsius. Two star hotels (or less) may not have a pool so be careful to check.
Many Benidorm hotels will offer a half board or full board option which will mostly be all-you-can-eat buffets. These can often be very economical options. Benidorm does have a great variety of good restaurants but you won't beat the cost of choosing to pay that little bit extra to eat at your hotel.
When reserving a Benidorm hotel do check the cost carefully. Some Benidorm hotels include breakfast and other Benidorm hotels don't - so do check what is included in your hotel cost and what isn't. However two star hotels in Benidorm will be of a clean standard and safe so depending on your budget they are good value for money.
THREE STAR HOTELS IN BENIDORM
Three star hotels in Benidorm are the most popular choice of Benidorm hotels as they offer clean, safe accommodation while being affordable to most people. Facilities in your hotel room will include basics such as telephone, hairdryer etc. The three star Benidorm hotel may have a swimming pool for your use, a gym and internet access but do check if these hotel facilities are essential to you.

FOUR STAR HOTELS IN BENIDORM
Are of a very high standard with many facilities available to you such as swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi, restaurants, breakfast should be included in the cost, parking, internet access etc.

Five star hotels in Benidorm are the most luxurious standard of hotel possible and of course the most expensive. Expect the highest standards of service and quality. Most five star hotels in Benidorm will have additional health facilities such as health and spa centres.
GUIDE TO BENIDORM HOSTELS
A really cheap alternative to staying in a Benidorm hotel is to book into a Benidorm hostel. Be advised that these hostels are very basic accommodation traditionally sought out by student travelers and backpackers on a budget.
Some hostels in Benidorm will require you to sleep in a room with other guests and share bathrooms. In some cases there will be a strict time that you have to be in by which is no good if you want to sample the Benidorm nightlife. Needless to say - staying in a Benidorm hostel is the cheapest form of accommodation you can find in Benidorm.
