This page on the town of Altea which is located on Spain's Costa Blanca supports up our other Altea tourism pages including the main Altea tourist information page. We had so many photos (fotos) and pictures of Altea including many different images and views of the town and it's beaches that we decided to create this page packed full of all the photos that we didn't have space for on our other Altea pages.

Altea is located south of Calpe and about 15 kilometres north of Benidorm. Altea is famous for the landmark church of Nuestra Senora del Consuelo. This is set up on a hill and can be seen for miles around. The old town part of Altea is set on a steep hillside.

The harbour and marina of Altea are very pretty and scenic with lots of restaurants and bars. The beach of Altea is over 5 km long and is divided into the stoney Cap Negret beach to the north of Altea, followed by the La Roda beach next to the old town and the largest beach the Cap Blanc to the south.
